Circle of Fortune
Enhance Your Item Drops and Seek Out Prophecies
The Circle of Fortune is an Item Faction that provides benefits for players that don't intend to trade with other players.
How to Join the Circle of Fortune
You can join the Circle of Fortune near the end of the campaign. During Chapter 9 when you reach Maj'Elka Upper District, you'll be able to enter The Observatory.
Once there, follow the questline to join the Circle of Fortune. When you are aligned to the Circle of Fortune, you can quick-travel to The Observatory from the Factions UI.
Favor
Favor is your main currency in the Faction. You gain Favor by killing enemies or completing quests while aligned to the Circle of Fortune.
You can use Favor to buy Items and Lenses from the Faction Vendor or you can spend Favor on claiming and rerolling Prophecies.
These Items are unique to the Faction Vendor (and Lost Caches) and come with some powerful implicit stats. For example, the Circle of Fortune item
Lenses on the other hand are used to modify Prophecies. For example, the

Prophecies and Lenses
Besides your Rank rewards, Prophecies are the main selling point of the Circle of Fortune. As you gain enough Favor from killing enemies and questing, you will be able to claim Prophecies.
These Prophecies consist of 3 elements:
- An event you must complete a set amount of times
- A condition under which the event must be completed
- The reward you gain from completing the Prophecy
Telescope Lenses
You can affect the possible rewards and conditions of Prophecies by applying Lenses (sold by Faction Vendor) to the Telescope. These lenses can increase the chance of finding Prophecies with specific rewards, or can avoid certain conditions from appearing on Prophecies.
Each Telescope (and Constellation) can be modified with one type of the Regional Lenses. Greater Lenses can be slotted into any Telescope.
Prophecy | Lens |
---|---|
Idol | Dysis |
Armor | Arctus |
Weapon | Eos |
Accessory | Mesembria |
You can slot a maximum of 3 Lenses per Telescope. The second Lens slot is locked behind rank 5, the third Lens slot is locked behind rank 9.
Rerolling Prophecies
You can reroll a set of Prophecies by spending some Favor. If you have enough Favor, this can be used to get the reward you need. It's best to combine this with an optimised Lens setup, to maximize your odds.
