Trade Your Way to Riches and Success
The Merchant's Guild is an Item Faction that provides benefits for players that want to trade with other players.
How to Join the Merchant's Guild
You can join the Merchant's Guild near the end of the campaign. During Chapter 9 when you reach Maj'Elka Upper District, you'll be able to enter The Bazaar.
Once there, talk to Nama to join the Merchant's Guild. When you are aligned to the Merchant's Guild, you can quick-travel to The Bazaar from the Factions UI.
Favor
Favor is your main currency in the Faction. You gain Favor by killing enemies or completing quests while aligned to the Merchant's Guild.
You can use Favor to buy Items from the Faction Vendor or you can spend Favor by trading in the Bazaar.
These Items are unique to the Faction Vendor (and Lost Caches) and come with some powerful implicit stats. For example, the Circle of Fortune item 
Reputation and Rank
Your Reputation within the Faction will level up your Rank, which grants unique bonuses to your character.
You gain Reputation by spending Favor. A small amount of reputation is also gained by defeating enemies and completing quests.

Trading in the Bazaar
Selling Items
From Rank 1 you can start selling any tradeable item you want. Go to any one of the Bazaar stalls, or you personal stall to list an item.
Based on the item quality, you will have to pay a certain amount of Favor to list the item. The better the item, the higher the fee. You can then select the selling price you think is fair.
Buying Items
Buying items is a little more tricky. You will need to have a certain rank to buy specific types of items. Check the Rank Rewards above.
Head over to the stall corresponding to the item type you need. You will be greeted by an interface listing all the currently traded items. To make the process of finding your desired item easier, there is an extensive searching filter available.
After finding the item you want, you can choose to buy the item if you have the funds for it. To buy an item, you'll have to pay the asking price of the seller and you need to pay an amount of Favor to complete the trade.
